Stavroula Giatili holds a diploma degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and a Ph.D. degree from NTUA. She has also graduated from the Military Nursing Academy of Greece and currently serves Hellenic Navy as a Leutenant-commander. She successfully completed PanHellenic Mathematics Competition organised by the Hellenic Mathematical Society. Since 2009, she has been a member of the In Silico Oncology and In Silico Medicine Group of ICCS-SECE-NTUA, has co-authored many research papers and participated in several EU projects (CHIC, ACGT, etc). Her research interests include in silico oncology, in silico medicine, multiscale cancer biomodeling, systems biology and applied mathematics.
