Panagiotis Kelefas, economist MBA, is a researcher at the Institute of Communication and Computer Systems (ICCS), School of Electrical and Computer Engineering (SECE), National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). He graduated (B.Sc.) from the Department of Maritime Studies at the University of Piraeus in 2003. Ηe also holds a master’s degree in Business Administration from the same University (2006). Since 2013 he is a research associate at ICCS-NTUA participating in several research projects, mainly funded by the EC and also by significant organizations in Greece.
In 2013 he started collaborating the “In Silico Oncology and In Silico Medicine Group” (ISO-ISM Group) of the ICCS-NTUA. Since then, he has been also involved in some projects at the “Mobile Radiocommunications Laboratory”. In 2016 he exceeded his current position participating in research projects at the “Microwave & Fiber Optics Laboratory” as well. Within the framework of European FP7, HORIZON 2020 and GSRI research projects (TENACITy, ASSURE, RESISTO, iBorderCtrl, BOUNCE, CHIC, My Health Avatar, P-Medicine, Dr. Therapat, TUMOR) he has gained significant experience in defining user requirements and corresponding use case scenarios, as well as in extracting them through an economic and technical perspective and modeling. In addition, he has also gained experience in risk assessment and resilience models in telecommunications (data handling for simulation models). He has contributed to the dissemination and publication processes of the project results (gathering & organizing the publication material of the measurement results, gathering, pre-processing and periodic updating of relevant websites, participation in the preparation of periodic newsletters/posters).
