The transatlantic textbook entitled "Multiscale Cancer Modeling, " edited by Thomas S. Deisboeck, Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Boston, USA and Georgios S. Stamatakos, Institute of Communication and Computer Systems, National Technical University of Athens, Athens, Greece and published in 2010/2011 is widely used by academic and research institutions worldwide. It also serves as a core teaching aid for the postgraduate course 705 of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens entitled "Multiscale Cancer Modeling and In Silico Medicine."
