Dr G. Stamatakos disscusses the fundamentals of multiscale cancer modeling (video). Opening talk of the First Transatlantic (EU-US) Workshop on Multiscale Cancer Modeling, Brussels, European Commission, Charlemagne Building, 23-24 October 2008.
The workshop was coorganized by G. Stamatakos, National Technical University of Athens, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Institute of Communication and Computer Systems from the EU side and by T. Deisboeck, Harvard Medical School and Massachusetts General Hospital from the US side. It was co-funded by the European Commission and the National Institutes of Health, National Cancer Institute, USA.
